A missile is an object upon which the lone force playing is gravitation. Many missiles non merely undergo a perpendicular gesture. but besides undergo a horizontal gesture. The end of this portion of the lesson is to discourse the horizontal and perpendicular constituents of a projectile’s gesture ; specific attending will be given to the presence/absence of forces. accelerations. and speed.

The perpendicular speed of the projectile gets smaller on the upward way until it reaches the top of the parabola. At the top of the parabola. the perpendicular constituent of the speed is zero.
